The Godfather and his Lavender Syndicate offer a variety of services. Each service may be booked individually (as a stand-alone service) to cover a single aspect of your event. Services may also be booked in groups. Two or more services may be booked collectively if you need more than one service or a variety of services for your event. We also offer package rates on our complete array of services. Pick as few or as many as you wish (rates vary according to the type of service and the number of services engaged). Costs also vary with location, size of event, number of guests and the complexity of each event. Rates may also vary based on the number and size of decorations as well as the parameters of required lighting and special effects. The various services we offer are listed below. Every successful idea must first be designed in order to bring it to life and the Godfather is an expert at this process.

He will carefully plan and design the visual aesthetics of your event to set the mood and deliver the maximum ambiance needed to present your selected theme in the best way possible.

Following the general design of an event, along with selecting a theme and elements, proper placement and arrangement of props and equipment must also be planned.

​DESIGN SERVICES are frequently paired with DECORATION and LIGHTING.
Carefully selected decor, properly arranged, creates the appropriate visual atmosphere for your event. ​

We specialize in and excel at site decoration. We can provide all aspects of decorative art, necessary to display a particular theme. This may range from minimal highlights that merely suggest an environment – like the shadows of wind-blown trees for a Mystery Dinner Party to full-scale props and panoramic backdrops used to define an elaborate theme event.

Along with his Lavender Syndicate associates, your Godfather will expertly stage your event. We'll define your environment with carefully chosen scenery in addition to proper draping or backdrops.
​
We'll judiciously select a variety of props for your event, based on color and style. Then we arrange each for maximum impact, in order to enhance believability and heighten the sense of wonder so that your guests are caught up in the experience that unfolds around them, at each and every event.

We can further enhance the decor by introducing appropriate lighting to heighten the dramatic effect and we can work within the constraints of your budget.
DECORATION SERVICES are usually paired with DESIGN and LIGHTING

No event is complete without suitable lighting. The best environment, decorated in the most elaborate fashion, will still lack character and depth if not suitably lighted. Lighting adds additional charm and dramatic flair that enhances the mood and increases the ambiance of a special occasion.

With the right lighting, we can introduce deep gloom into a setting in order to add a touch of mystery and intrigue.

By painting with light, your Godfather can suggest the lengthening shadows of an Autumn afternoon or the radiant colors of a tropic isle at sunset.

​We can highlight certain objects in a room to make them sparkle with otherworldly charm.

FULL OR PARTIAL BARTENDING SERVICES

A Signature cocktail recipe will add very little additional expense to your allotted bar budget, yet the impact that an original or signature cocktail, chosen or specially designed for your event, will have on your guests is immense!

The Godfather excels in the art of custom cocktail design. After all, he wrote the manual. Why not offer a signature or original cocktail with flavors specially chosen to reflect the nature of your occasion along with a suitably chosen specialty garnish to match.

Any competent caterer can provide you with an elaborate menu of tasty recipes and if properly prepared the food will be outstanding. But in addition to delighting the palate, the Godfather insists that food must enchant the eye as well. Presentation is every bit as important as preparation.

Should you wish to add an additional dimension, your Godfather is also skilled in a number of the arcane techniques of Molecular Gastronomy as well.
From a flight of tasty hors d'oeuvres to a variety of main courses and appropriate side dishes, via informal buffet or served traditional sit–down style, we help you choose the types of food to serve and custom–craft each selection to create a menu that reflects your individual tastes and the theme of your event.

We are also able to pair wines with food if your venue requires or permits it. Please note that paired dinner wines are an aspect of the Catering Service rather than Cocktails.

DIRECTION & COORDINATION
of Venues and Contractors
​Day-of-Event Orchestration and Direction
This entails contacting and scheduling services provided by of independent vendors and contractors, as well as orchestration and oversight of all vendors, so that everything runs smoothly.
In addition, this includes oversight of the Set–up and Take–down of all Rentals and Equipment
Should you wish, we will also be happy to host your event, greeting your guests and providing on-site orientation and instruction as needed.
Although we do not directly provide these auxiliary services from in-house, we will be happy to engage, schedule, and oversee any of the following services on our extensive list of reliable independent contractors.
